Solar3D Makes Progress Toward a Commercial Cell

Solar3D, Inc., the developer of a breakthrough 3-dimensional solar cell technology to maximize the conversion of sunlight into electricity, announced that it has begun discussions with the Smart System Technology and Commercialization Center of the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering, in New York, to fabricate a manufacturing ready prototype and execute a pilot manufacturing run of its new solar cell.

Bing Energy To Use Seed Funding to Commercialize Viable Nanotechnology Fuel Cell

Infineon and GLOBALFOUNDRIES Announce Joint Development and Production Collaboration for 40nm Embedded Flash Process Technology

The cooperation will focus on technology development based on Infineon's eFlash cell design and manufacturing of automotive and security microcontrollers (MCUs) with 40nm process structures. Production of the next generation 40nm eFlash MCUs will take place at different GLOBALFOUNDRIES sites, initially in Singapore with subsequent transfer to its site in Dresden, Germany.
