Job Description:
•Support the planning and execution of production scale-up programs of targeted graphene manufacturing processes •Develop and analyze new chemical concepts and quantify technical and economic feasibility •Support evaluation of market and customer requirements in cooperation with the Sales and Marketing department •Ensure an effective and transparent information flow between the Technical and Management in the manufacturing plant in relation to process development related topics •Technical support, as required, during key account visits •Assistance during the creation of process development strategies •Create and document findings leading toward intellectual property •Continuous analysis of technical trends, innovations and competitive products •Technical support for preparation of sales promotional documents and materials
Requirements:
•Master of Science in polymer chemistry is preferred •Strong technical background and education with > 5 years of industrial polymer experience •Exposure to chemical kinetics and physical chemistry •Exposure to process scale up, new product development and/or in the nano industry •Clear and frequent communicator, both oral and in written form •Highly motivated and goals driven •Strong analytical, technical focus and a quick learner •Strong business acumen •Statistical analysis and design of experiment are beneficial •Team player and networker •Capable of interfacing with the product development team, senior leadership team, sales and marketing team, with universities, research labs, vendors and customers
