The Institute: CIC nanoGUNE, located in San Sebastian, Basque Country (Spain), is a R&D center created recently with the mission of conducting basic and applied world-class research in nanoscience and nanotechnology. |

| Job Description: | ||||||||||||
The intended research is in the field of thin film deposition of inorganic materials for optical and mechanical refinement of materials. The approaches will involve gas phase deposition methods, in particular atomic layer deposition (ALD), as well as characterization by mechanical testing, microscopy, spectroscopy, and diffraction methods. |

| Requirements: | ||||||||||||
The candidate will hold a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or any related field, will have a strong interest in a multidisciplinary work, and an experience in either or multiple of the above techniques. The position is aimed for an immediate start, thus applications for a soon appointment are explicitly encouraged. |
