Job Description:

Job description
You will be a member of the Litho Process Development team, part of the Advanced Patterning department, responsible for overall material screening and developing the lithography processes requested by the process integration departments running imec’s CORE programs, Joint Development Projects, internal litho projects.

After receiving an on-the-job training you will be responsible for analyzing and discussing the litho process requests with your customers. Based on this you will design and execute the experimental plan in the cleanroom, and analyze and interpret the experimental results. You are expected to deliver high quality litho processes, including process window characterization, screening of alternative process options, metrology optimization to assure process reproducibility. Finally you will document and transfer the litho processes to the imec pilot production line and provide representative training to the process support engineers. The process development progress will need to be reported internally at Advanced Patterning Department meetings and in meetings with the customers (internal and external).
 

 
 
 
 
Requirements:

Profile

  • You have a PhD or Master degree in Chemistry, Physics or Materials Science, and you have at least 5 years of experience with advanced lithography (193nm immersion/EUV).
  • You are well organized and eager to learn.
  • You work within tight time limits and you take initiative.
  • You are able to deal with ambiguity.
  • You have experience in working in Cross Functional Teams.
  • Since the job involves intensive collaboration with internal and external customers, you are an excellent communicator with good reporting skills.
  • The day-to-day contact with people from all over the world makes fluency in English a necessity.
