University of Bremen ZARM - Magnetic Fluids and Material Sciences
The corepoint of the research interest of ZARM's 'Magnetic Fluids and Material Sciences' working group is the investigation of the properties and flows of suspensions of small magnetic particles often called magnetic fluids or ferrofluids under the influence of magnetic fields. Beside this we are dealing with the examination of formation of metallic foams and in particular with the drainage of liquid metal in the foam structure.
