University of Calcutta - Centre For Research in Nanoscience & Nanotechnology
Based on the diversified expertise and experience available in the University in Physical, Chemical and Biological science and technology, The University of Calcutta has focused on creating a centre on nanofabrication and characterization along with fundamental scientific understanding, thereby creating a proper synergy among the available diversified research areas in the university. The main thrust will be on the evolution of techniques of nanofabrication guided by the requirements of high degree of control at the nano-scale. Further hierarchical integration is needed to incorporate nanostructures into macro-scale products.
