Il laureato in Ingegneria Ingegneria dei Materiali e delle Nanotecnologie consegue il titolo di studio di laureato di primo livello (ingegnere junior) nella classe dell'Ingegneria Industriale. Egli può esercitare la libera professione, previo esame di Stato e iscrizione alla Sezione B dell'Albo dell'Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di residenza.
Il principale obiettivo formativo di questo corso di laurea magistrale è quello di formare un ingegnere che sia in grado di 'produrre' innovazione sia in ambito industriale che nella ricerca di base e che sia altamente competitivo nel mercato globale, con particolare riferimento ai settori delle tecnologie fisiche e ottiche, delle nanotecnologie e della fotonica. L'ingegnere fisico si può rivolgere a tutti i settori dove vengono sviluppati sistemi tecnologici avanzati: laser, fotonica, tecnologia dei materiali, ottica biomedica, etc.
This Master of Science programme is taught entirely in English to stimulate the student in acquiring greater familiarity with the terminology used internationally. The objective of the programme is to prepare a professional figure expert in materials and in the design of processes and manufactured goods. Within the scope of the study plan a number of specific specialisations are foreseen: Surface Treatements Engineering; Polymer and Composite Engineering; Nanotechnologies; Materials Design.
The aim of this course is to develop a professional as requested by industries with advanced technologies. A graduate in micro and nanotechnologies can develop methods and products to increase know-how and competitiveness of European industries with advanced technologies, especially in the information technologies field.
This is a three-year curriculum for Master graduated students in Science or Technology. The aim of the School is the formation of scientists or science-related professionals by a research training in the synthesis, the characterisation or the modeling of nanostructures, either organic, inorganic or biologic in nature.
The main goal of the Master is to train professionals in the design, fabrication and characterization of nano- and micro- systems for different applications, such as sensors and actuators, photonics, BioMEMS, with high scientific and industrial impact. The Master will offer an educational portfolio that includes four thematic areas: Bio NEMS - MEMS, photonic NEMS-MEMS, NEMS-MEMS for sensors and actuators, NEMS MEMS for the alternative energy sources and environmental monitoring.
