Industry's demand for micro- and nanoproducts unwaning at Hannover Messe

(Nanowerk News) The exhibitors at the IVAM Product Market “Micro, Nano & Materials” bring home good news from the MicroTechnology/HANNOVER MESSE: “We are highly satisfied with the course of the fair – the quantity and quality of visitors has been ideal”, Christian Staniewicz from Polytec GmbH summarizes.
“The IVAM Product Market has attracted numerous interested visitors; and we hope for good business transactions to follow up,” confirms Dr. Wolfgang Beck, managing director of PANADUR GmbH.
Polytec and PANADUR were two of over 50 companies and institutes showing commercially relevant micro- and nanotechnology solutions from April 20 to 24 at the joint pavilion of IVAM Microtechnology Network in Hanover, Germany.
“Especially small and medium-sized high-tech companies are filling the innovation pipelines now. During the current economic changes new customer relations and new possibilities to make business are coming up. Most companies have used this opportunity in Hanover”, stresses IVAM managing director Dr. Uwe Kleinkes.
Highlights at the IVAM Product Market and the forum “Innovations for Industry”, which was also organized by IVAM, were the subjects “Lasers for Micromachining and Microproduction”, “Energy Harvesting” and “Printed Intelligence”. To accelerate the economic exchange between Germany and Korea with high-tech products, IVAM Microtechnology Network and the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology KITECH signed a cooperation agreement during the fair.
