(Nanowerk News) On June 10-12, a delegation of the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) headed by CEO Anatoly Chubais will be visiting Japan. The eventful program of the visit includes more than 15 meetings with representatives of Government of Japan, management of Japan-based largest international corporations, members of business and financial associations, and scientists and engineers working in the field of nanotechnology.
The main purposes of the visit include studying the Japanese system of government support of the nanotech sector, introducing RUSNANO to business and scientific communities and discussing further cooperation in development and commercialization of nanotechnology.
During the visit, RUSNANO representatives will meet Special Representative of the Prime Minister of Japan Shiotaro Yachi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Mr. Toshihiro Nikai, members of the Japan Business Federation (Nippon Keidanren), management of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) and Russian scientists working in Tsukuba.
RUSNANO Deputy Director General Alexander Losyukov, Member of the corporation’s Supervisory Council Leonid Melamed, RUSNANO Managing Director Konstanin Demetriou are among the members of the delegation.
