Nanocyl Carbon Nanotubes Used for the Manufacturing of Protective Electrostatic Discharge Packaging
(Nanowerk News) Shinil Chemical Industry CO. LTD will exhibit new ESD packaging materials during the NPE2009 based on Nanocyl multi-wall carbon nanotubes.
The cost-performance of Nanocyl 7000, combined with Shinil’s proprietary dispersion
technology and know-how in compounding, is enabling products to have superior quality,
easy recyclability, reduced weight and lower cost. The products include magazine racks, IC
trays and multilayered sheets for trays thermoforming.
Shinil will be located in the West Hall, booth W92032.
Back in May, Nanocyl S.A. and Shinil Chemical Industry CO. LTD announced today they have reached a long-term agreement for the supply of Nanocyl™ 7000 multi-wall carbon nanotubes to Shinil for the manufacturing of electrostatic discharge (ESD) packaging for semiconductors.
