Cymer Elects Eric Ruttenberg to Board of Directors
(Nanowerk News) Cymer, Inc., the world's leading supplier of light sources used by chipmakers to create advanced semiconductor chips, today announced the election of Eric Ruttenberg to the company's Board of Directors.
"I am pleased to announce the election of Eric Ruttenberg to the Company's Board of Directors," stated Bob Akins, chairman and chief executive officer of Cymer. "Eric's business acumen and extensive capital market experience will be a great asset to help the company take advantage of the opportunities ahead. Eric M. Ruttenberg, 53, serves as Co - Managing Member of the General Partner of Tinicum Capital Partners II, L.P., a New York based investment firm, that holds a significant interest in Cymer. Mr. Ruttenberg also currently serves as a director of several of Tinicum's privately held portfolio companies. Mr. Ruttenberg has previously served on the boards of several public companies, namely SPS Technologies and Kollmorgen Corporation.
