Winner Medical to Open Its First Three PurCotton Pilot Stores in Shenzhen, China
(Nanowerk News) Winner Medical Group Inc., a leading manufacturer and exporter of medical, wound care and home care products in China, today announced that it has opened its first three PurCotton® pilot chain stores in Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China on December 31, 2009. At the same time, its subsidiary Winner Industries (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Shenzhen PurCotton Technology Co., Ltd. to develop sales channels in the China marketplace, and sell its PurCotton® branded products.
The three chain stores are located in densely populated commercial areas with high visibility and significant foot traffic. Each store contains a broad range of PurCotton® branded personal products and healthcare supplies, which include PurCotton Sports bandages, Cosmetic products, baby diapers, sanitary pads, baby wears, wipes, women's underwear, bed sheets, curtains, pillows and related products. The concept stores specifically focus on offering customers a broad range of disposable, daily use products which will simplify customer's shopping experience. All of the products are made by 100% natural cotton.
PurCotton® is a revolutionary nonwoven fabric made with 100% natural cotton products and has many advantages over both woven cotton and synthetic nonwoven fabric. It is of high quality, and is safe, natural, biodegradable, sustainable and eco-friendly, which makes it an ideal material for medical and health care products, as well as for daily home care products.
The objective of PurCotton® is to provide customers with medical grade 100% cotton products which are healthy, comfortable, and eco-friendly. PurCotton® products will improve consumers' living standards, since these products are green, additives-free and non-allergenic. For instance, the sterilized feminine products and baby diapers are of a higher quality and are safer for consumers than woven and synthetic alternatives, some products will include anti-bacteria nano material.
