From lab to industry: nanotechnology innovations at Hannover Fair

(Nanowerk News) That applications of nanotechnology have found their way from lab to industry will be proven by about 60 exhibitors on the Product Market Micro, Nano & Materials at Microtechnology/Hannover Fair. At the joint pavilion organized by IVAM Microtechnology Network, experts from all over the world will show promising applications for industrial nanotechnology from April 16 to 20, 2007.

A new method for coating substrates with very small features will be presented by EV Group. With the NanoSpray technology users will be able to carry out further lithography steps at the bottom of the via (vertical interconnect access) in order to create through wafer interconnects.
Jenoptik Laser, Optik, Systeme GmbH will present the features of its new hot embossing tools Hex04. The system provides the user with maximum flexibility in the high-precision molding of polymer parts with features in the micro and nano dimension. Experts from Tampere University of Technology from Finland will be ready to answer questions about nanophotonics. temicon GmbH will present micro and nano mold inserts as well as components made of metal and plastics.
