Carl Zeiss Offers Online Promotions - Discounts on Stereomicroscopy and Converting to 3D Imaging

(Nanowerk News) Carl Zeiss, a leading provider of microscopy solutions for a variety of research, clinical and industrial applications, recently announced two exciting online promotions. These special web promotions are now being extended through to August 31, 2010. These promotions include a price reduction on Zeiss's top-rated stereomicroscopy instrument and a 5 percent discount for conversion of certain existing models of Zeiss research microscopes into a 3D imaging workstation.
Purchase the SteREO Discovery V8 to explore the new standard in stereomicroscopy and discover the advantage of high performance optics for a special price of $4,995 (originally valued at more than $7,000). The newly designed optic system offers enhanced resolution, increased contrast, and a perceptibly improved stereoscopic impression.
The SteREO Discovery V8, with Manual Stand Base Profile S, offers brilliant 3D images, enabling an efficient observation and handling of samples. Also included is a long life LED ring light for shadow-free illumination and the 1.0X Zeiss V8 Achromat high-contrast objective for the most pronounced stereoscopic impression from 10x to 80x magnification.
Go Confocal and receive a 5 percent discount for converting existing Zeiss research microscopes into a 3D imaging workstation. If your current microscope is not listed, you can also upgrade your stand at a special rate of $9,900.
