University Poster Exhibition - Call for abstracts - Technology World in partnership with UK Nanoforum
(Nanowerk News) Technology World in partnership with UK NanoForum will bring over 350 senior international delegates together with the best of the UK's Science & Technology community. With a focus on trade, investment and collaborations, this will be a networking forum for industry, academia, technology purchasers and those seeking to develop joint ventures and future partnerships.
The themes for this year's event are:
Emerging & Nano Technologies
Energy & Environment
Digitally Connected World
Posters will be displayed in the main exhibition hall for the duration of the two day conference and poster presentations will take place throughout the afternoon on Tuesday 7th December 2010.
With over 2000 expected visitors to the show, this is an excellent opportunity to talk about your research and develop future contacts.
You are invited to submit abstracts for Poster presentations on current research which it is envisaged will have future impact on any of the themes above. We particularly encourage presentations on work that is in progress, as well as completed work.

If you are interested in presenting your poster at this years event then please submit abstracts including title, authors (indicating attending author) and author affiliations with an abstract body of 250 words maximum to firstname.lastname@example.org by the 17th September 2010.
(N.B. Those that have been accepted will be notified by the 6th October. Two free delegate passes will be provided for each University displaying a Poster. If selected, you will need to be available to man your Poster for the duration of the exhibition).
University Excellence Awards
In that past awards have been presented for the top three poster presentations. This is also being planned for this years event, further details to follow.
