Event announcement: 'Measurements in science and technology - a bridge to innovation'
(Nanowerk News) From May 17 to May 19, 2011, at Moscow International Forum MetrolExpo-2011 will be held under the motto "Measurements in science and technology a bridge to innovation", devoted to World Metrology Day.
The sponsor of the events is Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology
acting in association with Central Office of the Government of the Russian Federation,
Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education and
Science of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Federal
Space Agency of the Russian Federation, and a number of international agencies (BIPM,
OIML, EURAMET, COOMET).
The 7th International Exhibition of Measuring Tools, Testing and Laboratory Equipment
"MetrolExpo-2011", where advanced equipment will be presented by over 300 companies
from 12 countries, and the 3rd Moscow International Symposium of Metrologists, at work
sections of which over 100 representatives of the major consumers and manufacturers of
measuring tools are speaking, will be held in the framework of the forum.
Forum "MetrolExpo-2011" means over 10,000 specialists from Russia, the near-abroad
and foreign countries, specialized expositions of state corporations and large industrial
enterprises, over 50 regional centers for standardization, metrology and certification and
