FlexTech Alliance Strengthens Its Management Team
(Nanowerk News) FlexTech Alliance today announced the appointment of Stacy Oresman to the position of Director of Technology and Denise Rael to the position of Communications Manager. Oresman and Rael will strengthen FlexTech's ability to support the electronic display and the flexible, printed electronics industry supply chains and broaden collaboration among industry, academia, government, and research organizations.
In his new role, Oresman will oversee FlexTech's highly-successful infrastructure development program for displays and will direct the consortium's expansion into new flexible electronics market segments, including photovoltaic, solid state lighting, sensors, and communications products. Prior to this appointment, Oresman served as Managing Director of Equipment & Thin Film Solutions (ETS), Vice President of Business Development at Nuelight Corp. and held senior director positions with Ulvac Technologies and Intevac Inc. He was later engaged by other global institutions including Fortune 500 firms and The World Bank. Oresman's expertise in thin film equipment, processes and their associated cost-drivers and markets helped drive business growth, product development and performance improvements to these organizations. With over a decade of experience in flat panel and OLED display technologies, he also brings knowledge of compound semiconductor and rapid thermal annealing applications to the FlexTech Alliance.
Denise Rael will lead the effort to communicate industry innovation, execute awareness building campaigns, promote programs, and manage media relations for the FlexTech Alliance and 3D@Home Consortium, a FlexTech Alliance sponsored organization. Rael has extensive experience driving marketing and PR campaigns for high-tech and clean-tech organizations in both corporate and agency management positions. Rael's previous experience includes engineering management roles in semiconductor manufacturing. Her combined business and engineering background have helped grow profits, launch new products, and increase brand awareness for companies such as Agilent Technologies, Novellus, Teradyne and IBM, among others.
"The FlexTech Alliance welcomes Stacy and Denise as important contributors to the industries we support. Both are savvy, experienced professionals who will help shape our programs and interact extensively with our industry and government partners," said Michael Ciesinski, CEO, FlexTech Alliance.
