PCAST meeting on nanotechnology

(Nanowerk News) The U.S. President's Council of Advisors on Science and Technology (PCAST) has scheduled its next meeting on June 25 on the issues of nanotechnology applications and implications of nanotechnology for health, safety, and the environment.
During the morning session, panelists from multiple sectors will present examples of nanotechnology-based innovation and commercialization related to a range of products and industries.
During the afternoon session, panelists from a range of perspectives will describe their activities related to understanding and addressing health and safety issues of nanotechnology and the roles of various stakeholders in managing potential risks of nanotechnology.
