New PI Brochure: Motion Control Systems for Non-Magnetic and Vacuum Applications

(Nanowerk News) PI (Physik Instrumente) L.P. – a leading manufacturer of precision motion-control and piezo nanopositioning products – has released a new brochure on vacuum compatible and non-magnetic positioning systems.
The publication presents a comprehensive overview of PI's precision motion control products for extreme operating conditions that are essential for many of today's leading edge applications in fields as diverse as: semiconductor test & manufacturing, high energy physics, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), astronomy, aerospace and medical engineering.

The brochure features a variety of high-end piezoceramic stages, Hexapod-6 axis positioners and linear actuators. Classical motorized precision positioners as well as non-magnetic piezo-worm type motors and ultrasonic motors and positioners are discussed.
