UAlbany NanoCollege brings nano to the community as part of national NanoDays 2012

(Nanowerk News) The College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering (CNSE) is spending a full week in the community, sharing the excitement of nanotechnology with children and teenagers as part of national "NanoDays 2012."
CNSE is partnering with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Albany, the Capital District YMCA's Black and Latino Achievers Group, the Schenectady Museum and Suits-Bueche Planetarium, and the Children's Museum of Science and Technology in Troy to bring an array of engaging experiments and other hands-on activities to educate children.
Students are receiving an invaluable firsthand look at the exciting world of nanotechnology, as CNSE participates in the national effort to raise awareness of the small science that's having a big impact in today's society.
