Angstron Materials Chairs Graphene Symposia at TechConnect World Nanotech Conference

(Nanowerk News) Angstron Materials Inc., will chair two graphene symposiums at TechConnect World's Nanotech technical event at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, Calif., June 18 21, 2012. Graphene: Innovations in Synthesis And Production will be held Tuesday, June 19 and Graphene: CNT Applications of Graphene Based Materials will be held Wednesday, June 20. The events will be co-chaired by Dr. Bor Jang, co-owner of Angstron and holder of 42 graphene-based IP publications and Ron Beech, director of marketing for Angstron.
TechConnect World is the largest multi-disciplinary conference and provides a marketplace of vetted innovations, inventors, technology business developers and funders. Guest speakers for the graphene symposiums include C.Y. Sung, nanoelectronics research senior program manager, IBM Research Center; Steve Sinton, Lockheed Martin; and Lawrence Drzal, chief scientist, XG Sciences, Inc.
Headquartered in Dayton, Ohio (U.S.) Angstron Materials is the world's largest producer of nano graphene platelets (also called NGPs) and the only manufacturer able to produce pristine graphene. Angstron offers six different graphene products, both oxide and pristine, in varying thicknesses and dimensions.
