Commercializing Nanotechnology from Lab to Fab
(Nanowerk News) TiE, a not-for-profit global network of entrepreneurs and professionals that was founded in 1992 in Silicon Valley, is hosting an event next week to discuss the commercialization of nanotechnology.
The potential of nanotechnology has been immense, that could help drive gains in all fields from energy, healthcare, agriculture to new high-tech semiconductor devices. The panel will discuss the new opportunities in nanotechnology and ways to commercialize and scale nanotech products in today’s market place successfully and what kind of end products do experts see in the future.
The VC’s on the panel will discuss the nanotechnology areas the VC’s, Corporate’s and Govt. agencies are currently investing in. The panel will also feature executives of leading nanotech startups, hear from them on their backgrounds and what they did to put together their nanotech startup. The panel brings together CEO’s of startups, VC’s and academics that have been involved in the bringing the promise of nanotechnology to marketplace.
