DiMI provides high-level training courses in the field of molecular imaging |

(Nanowerk News) The European Network of Excellence DiMI (Diagnostic Molecular Imaging) for identification of new imaging markers for diagnostic purpose was initiated in April 2005. The goal of DiMI is to integrate the multidisciplinary development of new probes and non-invasive technologies aimed at the timely diagnosis of disease and the evaluation of treatment response.

A major task of DiMI is the training of researchers in all relevant fields of molecular imaging. The Technology and Training Platforms (TTPs) attract both young and experienced scientists from all over the world who are looking for high-level training in molecular imaging.

The training courses are also available to graduate students, whether they belong to the DiMI consortium or not. The TTPs educate and train scientists and students in the different imaging technologies represented in the consortium, such as MRI, CT, PET, SPECT, optical imaging.

|
Master or PhD students in biology, chemistry, medicine, veterinary and pharmaceutical science, physics, mathematics and informatics, as well as researchers and professionals from public and private institutions are welcome to apply.
