Congressional Nanotechnology Caucus briefing: 'Nanotechnology and Innovation, Commercialization, and Prize Competitions'

(Nanowerk News) On Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at 2:00 pm. in SD-366, the Congressional Nanotechnology Caucus will host a briefing entitled: "Nanotechnology and Innovation, Commercialization, and Prize Competitions."
Please note that due to the MLK holiday, the briefing will be held on a Tuesday this month, rather than the usual Monday date.
The panel of speakers will be:
William Pomerantz, Director for Space Projects, The X-Prize Foundation
Dave Rejeski, Director, Project on Emerging Nanotechnologies, Woodrow Wilson Center
Ed Cupoli, Head of the NanoEconomics Constellation, SUNY Albany
Scott Livingston, Managing Director, Axiom Capital Management
The panel will discuss topics including: prize competitions, public-private partnerships, green nanotechnology, nanotechnology in semi-conductor development, and commercial spin-off products and companies and their financial potential.
