NanoHigh kicks off '08 with lectures and lab work at Albany NanoTech

(Nanowerk News) Thirty Albany High School science students will attend class at the state University at Albany's College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering Friday as part of the NanoHigh program.
NanoHigh is a joint program between UAlbany's NanoCollege and the City School District of Albany. UAlbany said the program is believed to be the first of its kind at a public school.
Students will attend lectures by nanocollege professors Nathaniel Cady and Yubing Xie as well as spend time in a lab at Albany NanoTech, where UAlbany's NanoCollege is located.
