Oregon State University nanotechnology work to grow at HP

(Nanowerk News) Oregon State University says it has plans to grow its microtechnology and nanoscience research at Hewlett-Packard's campus in Corvallis.
HP has donated use of an 80,000-square-foot building at its Corvallis campus for the next 20 years to the university. School officials estimate the gift is worth about $25 million.
Oregon State says it will invest $9.5 million in state money in labs in that building.
The facility will provide Oregon State and affiliated researchers with additional space for the lab and research areas, as well as room for startup companies to develop new products and services that would generate new jobs.
