(Nanowerk News) Following the successful conclusion of the first Russian nanotechnology conference at the beginning of this month, the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies (RUSNANO) has just announced the dates of its Annual Nanotechnology International Forum for 2009. The event will be held on October 6-8, again in the Central Exhibition Complex – “The Expocenter”, Moscow, Russia.
The Annual Nanotechnology International Forum is a global ground for discussions within the Nanoindustry on scientific, technological, manufacturing, investment issues, safety problems, etc.
A series of plenary and section meetings, poster presentations, exhibition, panel discussions, press-conferences, seminars and lectures will take place covering a wide range of nanotechnology techniques and applications and addressing the requirements and development needs of industry with an emphasis on commercialization and practical use.
Acting as the Forum organizer, the Russian Corporation of Nanotechnologies believes that the Forum will not only encourage a successful knowledge exchange between developers of nanomaterials and nanotechnology applications but also give an additional boost to the development of the Russian nanoindustry.
As in 2008, Rusnano anticipates the participation of high-level officials from Federal and Regional Governments, scientists, and leading representatives of the Russian and foreign business community.
The organizers also plan to hold a number of special events with the participation of students, PhD students, and young researchers.
