Arkema Appoints Hubron as UK Distributor for its Multiwall Carbon Nanotubes

(Nanowerk News) In 2006, Arkema inaugurated Europe’s first plant capable of producing some 20 tonnes per year of multiwall carbon nanotubes, and has built a broad product portfolio for the polymer industry to include the elastomeric, thermoplastic, thermosetting, coating and adhesive sectors.
Hubron will offer the full Graphistrength® product range from its UK warehouses. The range currently includes the pure Graphistrength® products, and the extended range of masterbatches designed to ease incorporation into a whole range of elastomers, thermoplastics, resins and waterborne applications.
Commenting on the recent appointment, Jean-Marc Corpart, Graphistrength® Global Business Manager, said: “We are delighted to formalise our arrangements with Hubron, who have worked very closely with us over the last 2 years as we have brought products to the market. We are set to see real growth with these commercially exciting new products.”
Full details on the Graphistrength® range can be viewed on the dedicated Arkema website www.graphistrength.com
Hubron Speciality Limited works closely with other Arkema business units and distributes the Luperox® crosslinking organic peroxides, Vultac® nitrosamine-free sulphur donor vulcanising resins, and the Ekaland® and Mixland +® rubber chemicals.
