Recent advances in nanomaterials indicates that the central nervous system is susceptible to nanoparticle induced alterations leading to functional or structural alterations. This knowledge is currently disseminated in vast array of journals dealing with broad subject areas related to pharmacology, toxicology, neuroscience or nanosciences. Thus, there is an urgent need to collect all these diverse information related to nanoscience and brain function in one place using Journal of Nanoneuroscience for the benefit of the scientific community, researchers, health planners, health care providers, policy makers, environmentalists, biologists, chemists, and physicist in this emerging area of medical science.
The objective of the Journal of Nanoparticle Research is to disseminate knowledge of the physical, chemical and biological phenomena and processes in structures that have at least one lengthscale ranging from molecular to approximately 100 nm (or submicron in some situations), and exhibit improved and novel properties that are a direct result of their small size.
Journal of Nanophotonics (JNP) is an electronic journal focusing on the fabrication and application of nanostructures that facilitate the generation, propagation, manipulation, and detection of light from the infrared to the ultraviolet regimes.
This journal publishes original papers in nanoscience and nanotechnologies in general.
Journal for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (JNN) is an international and multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal with a wide-ranging coverage, consolidating research activities in all areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology into a single reference source.
An international eJournal focused towards the rapid publication of fundamental research papers on all areas of Nanosciences and Nanotechnology. The focus and the scope of journal includes: deals with structures of the size 100 nanometers or smaller in at least one dimension, and involves developing materials or devices within that size. All contributions to the journal are rigorously refereed and are selected on the basis of quality and originality of the work. The journal publishes the most significant new research and review work in all areas pertaining to its scope and research being done in the world , thus ensuring its scientific priority and significance.
JNPN provides a major international forum for nanostructured polymers and nanocomposites research covering all the latest developments. The journal is currently published 4 times a year and accepts short communications and full papers.
Journal of Nanotechnology is a peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research articles as well as review articles in all areas of nanotechnology.
The ASME Journal of Nanotechnology in Engineering and Medicine provides a worldwide forum on how nanotechnology is impacting medicine in all fields of science, engineering, and clinical arenas including cardiology, neurology and neurosurgery, oncology, diabetes and metabolism disorders. Also covered, is the direction of current research, development, and technological evolution of the emerging fields of Electronic Organic Sensors and nano and micro-engineering as they apply to monitoring and control of various human diseases and disorders.
This journal publishes original experimental and basic research targeted to scientists in physical chemistry of nanoparticles, and nanostructures, surfaces, interfaces, and catalysis, electron transport, optical and electronic devices, and hard matter; and energy conversion and storage.
Scanning probe microscopy (SPM) typically covers atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), near-field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM, or SNOM) and related technologies. (discontinued)
The Journal of Sol-Gel Science and Technology (JSST) provides an international forum for the dissemination of scientific, technological, and general knowledge about materials processed by chemical nanotechnologies known as the "sol-gel" process. The materials of interest include gels, gel-derived glasses, ceramics in form of nano- and micro-powders, bulk, fibres, thin films and coatings as well as more recent materials such as hybrid organic-inorganic materials and composites.
The Journal of Surface Investigation spans the field of surface physics, from the preparation of samples, through physical and chemical properties of surfaces, interfaces and nanostructures (including organic and biological materials), to data analysis and interpretation of results. The Journal focuses closely on novel experimental approaches to characterization of surfaces, interfaces and thin films by X-ray, synchrotron and neutron techniques, which are the most suited techniques for structural studies of nanosystems.
The word tribology derives from the Greek tribos, meaning friction and logos, meaning law. Tribology is the ?science and technology of interacting surfaces in relative motion?. It includes the research and application of principles of friction, wear and lubrication. Recently, micro/nanotribology had been gaining ground. Frictional interactions in microcomponents are becoming increasingly important for the development of new products in mechanics, chemistry, electronics, life sciences, sensors and by extension for all modern technology.
The JVST B has been established to provide a vehicle for the publication of research dealing with microelectronics and nanometer structures. The emphasis will be on processing, measurement and phenomena, and will include vacuum processing, plasma processing, materials and structural characterization, microlithography, and the physics and chemistry of submicron and nanometer structures and devices.
Lab on a Chip provides a unique forum for the publication of significant and original work related to miniaturisation (on or off chips) at the micro- and nano-scale across a variety of disciplines including: chemistry, biology, bioengineering, physics, electronics, clinical/medical science, chemical engineering and materials science, which is likely to be of interest to the multidisciplinary community that the journal addresses.
Lecture Notes in Nanoscale Science and Technology (LNNST) aims to report latest developments in nanoscale science and technology research and teaching.
Low Carbon Economy is an international journal dedicated to the latest advancement of low carbon economy. The goal of this journal is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in different areas of low carbon economy.
