Surfaces that are exposed to direct sunlight are damaged by UV radiation. Organic compounds such as dyes, pigments, binders, or polymers are destroyed.
Conventional UV absorbers do not offer any long-term solution to this problem, as they degrade over time with the effect of the sunlight and lose their efficiency. Inorganic NANOBYK® UV absorbers, by contrast, remain stable and provide long-lasting protection.
