Postdoctoral Position in Particle Functionalization

NanoGUNE is a research center with the mission of performing world-class nanoscience research for the competitive growth of the Basque Country.

Job Description:

The overall goal of this project is to optimize the process setup and to functionalize particles for a use in energy storage applications. Being a collaborative project of CIC nanoGUNE and IK4-CIDETEC, the process development as well as the characterization and optimization will be performed at CIC nanoGUNE, while integration of the materials into applications and performance testing will be performed at IK4-CIDETEC.
The approaches will involve gas phase deposition methods, in particular atomic layer deposition (ALD), as well as characterization by microscopy, spectroscopy, diffraction methods and electrochemical methods.

 

Requirements:

The candidate will hold a PhD in Chemistry, Physics, or any related field, will have a strong interest in a multidisciplinary work, and an experience in either or multiple of the above techniques
