(Nanowerk News) RUSNANO's exhibition in the Russian pavilion opened at Shanghai World Expo 2010. The exhibition features innovative solutions in the fields of medicine and biotechnology, engineering, nanostructured materials, solar energy, optoelectronics and nanoelectronics.

Among the innovative solutions visitors will find innovative drugs, detectors for remote discovery of explosives, optical modules for high speed data transfer, concentrator-based photovoltaic solutions with efficiency up to 35-40%, LEDs, batteries for transportation.

Expo 2010 – is a World Exhibition, running from May 1 to October 31, 2010 in Shanghai, China. The theme of the exposition is: "Better City - Better Life". EXPO 2010 offers conceptual solutions to problems such as reducing resources, crime and pollution by simulating cities of the future. More than 190 countries and more than 50 international organizations have registered to participate in the Shanghai World Expo, the largest ever. 70–80 million visitors are expected to visit this expo, which would make it the most visited in history.
