SEI Chemical Introduces High-End Water-Based Clear Sealer That Provides Unmatched Bonding for Topcoats on Porous Surfaces

(Nanowerk News) Nanotechnology provides superior inter-coat adhesion than tradition sealer primers.
Builders, contractors, architectural firms and companies engaged in erecting new or rehabbing older structures can now prepare, fill cracks and pores and maintain color integrity with SEI's novel water-based UV stable Sealer Prime. Most importantly, this proprietary blend incorporates an active silanol group and nanoparticulate that provides chemical interaction and bonding that ensures unparalleled topcoat adhesion.
New SCS-002SP Sealer Prime produces a superior waterproof, UV resistant and highly adhesive clear priming treatment (in one or two coats, depending upon the porosity of the material). This heavy duty, modified acrylate provides a far more effective seal than traditional block fillers or standard latex primers. A leading cause of topcoat failure is inter-coat or primer/topcoat adhesion; the SCS-002SP confronts and solves this problem.
The proprietary low VOC, non-flammable formulation can be applied using airless spray equipment that can be cleaned with water. It is blended to infuse and penetrate the capillaries and pores on porous substrates without producing a heavily coated appearance. When applied, the sealer prime has a milky white appearance to visually assist with the coverage, but quickly dries to a clear and colorless finish.
SEI Chemical Water Base SCS-002-SP Sealer Prime is available in 5 gallon, 55 gallon and 275-gallon containers.
SEI Chemical, with offices and facilities in Northridge and La Verne California and sales worldwide, has earned its way to become a global leader in the fields of anti-stick, anti-microbial, anti-corrosion, anti-abrasion industrial coatings. The firm also manufacture's resins, coupling agents, curing agents coating additives, sealants and building restoration products.
