Nanolithosolution Appoints NIL Technology as Sales Representative For Their Complete Nanoimprint Solution

(Nanowerk News) NIL Technology ApS (NILT) has entered an agreement with Nanolithosolution Inc. to promote and sell Nanolithosolution tools in Europe. In less than 10 minutes, cleanrooms can change a regular UV-aligner into a UV nanoimprint lithography (NIL) tool - enabling NIL using existing equipment.
By entering this agreement NIL Technology is now capable of providing complete nanoimprint lithography solutions to the European market. Offering the Nanolithosolution add-on to UV-aligners together with NIL Technology’s high quality NIL stamps represents an important step towards increasing the use of NIL in both R&D and production. The NIL tools provided by Nanolithosolution is for UV-NIL and for exploiting the aligning capability of UV-aligners through an implemented Auto-Release™ feature offering high-throughput compared to other systems.
“The NLS tool gives easy and cheap access to a complete high performance NIL solution for any cleanroom having an UV aligner installed. The tool catalyzes the transition from conventional lithography to NIL, ultimately increasing the number of products produced by nanoimprint lithography in the future.”, says Theodor Nielsen, CEO of NIL Technology.
Once installed, switching between UV-lithography and nanoimprint lithography is easy and fast, enabling the creation of nanoscale features and alignment of multiple-layer lithographic patterns with sub-micron accuracy, without disrupting current processes. The ease of process operation and control occurs through a programmable nanoimprinting controller. Users can customize the process parameters and any person familiar with semiconductor processing can be trained to operate the equipment within a few hours.
Bo Pi, CEO, Nanolithosolution comments: “Addressing the growing demand for nanoimprint lithography systems, NIL Technology acts as an ideal partner allowing us to benefit from their strong network and position within the European market. Hopefully, we will see customers surprised with how easy it is to operate and the wide opportunity space nanoimprint lithography opens up for”.
