Unidym to Present Integration of Nanotube-Based Transparent Electrodes into Advanced Displays
(Nanowerk News) Unidym, Inc, a majority-owned subsidiary of Arrowhead Research Corporation (NASDAQ:ARWR), announced that it will participate in the upcoming Society for Information Display (SID) International Symposium, Seminar and Exhibition at the Los Angeles Convention Center May 18th through 23rd. The company will be exhibiting its carbon nanotube-based transparent conductive electrodes designed for use in displays and touch panels at its booth (#504). In addition, Unidymís CTO, Dr. Paul Drzaic, will chair a session discussing e-paper (Session 46) and present a short paper (Session 37.4) discussing the integration of carbon nanotube-based transparent electrodes into display applications.
Unidym is a leader in the development and manufacture of carbon nanotubes for applications in the electronics industry. The companyís transparent conductive electrodes are designed to directly replace the ITO-based electrodes currently used in touch screens and LCD displays. These flexible transparent electrodes use encapsulated, conductive networks of carbon nanotubes placed on a variety of substrate materials.
