Electronic Solutions for Mediacl Technology Showcased at COMPAMED

(Nanowerk News) The IVAM Product Market “High-tech for Medical Devices“ at COMPAMED, the medical suppliers’ fair taking place from November 19 to 21 in Düsseldorf, Germany, has grow strongly. More than 45 companies and institutes from Germany, Switzerland, Finland, Great Britain, France, Sweden, the Netherlands and the USA will show new developments from medical engineering.
IVAM serves current demands for innovative production methods for medical-technical components with the new area “Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) for Medical Devices“. Amongst others, the electronic service provider PrehTronics GmbH will present itself in this exhibitor area.
Under the use of modern industry PCs, display solutions, operational concepts and micro controller platforms the company develops electronic devices and overall systems. Visitors will also get exclusive insights in latest application areas of micro- and nanotechnology within medical technology at the forum “High-tech for Medical Devices”.
Prof. Dr. Anton Grabmaier, head of the Fraunhofer Institute for Microelectronic Circuits and Systems IMS, will speak about optimized monitoring processes. Printable electronics for medical technical applications are going to be presented by the Finnish VTT Technical Research Centre. Furthermore, companies such as Texas Instruments, Bartels Mikrotechnik and 3D Micromac will present themselves.
