Absolute Mag™ C18 Magnetic Polystyrene Particles, 3 µm (Cat#WHM-M081) are monodisperse particles which consist of magnetite around an organic matrix of a styrene-maleic acid-copolymer, are finally coated with a polymer layer for the encapsulation of magnetite and the introduction of C18 groups on the surface of particles. They can easily be separated with conventional permanent magnets.
