The Open Nanoscience Journal is a peer-reviewed Open Access online journal, which publishes research articles, reviews, and letters in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology, encompassing biotechnology, medicine, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, physics, biology, materials science and electronics.
Optical Nanoscopy is devoted to the rapid dissemination of original works on principles, development, and applications of optical imaging with spatial resolution substantially better than half the wavelength of light. The journal will have an emphasis on far- field optical approaches with resolution at the nanometer scale, as well as on advancements of near-field optical microscopy.

Physica E contains papers and invited review articles on the fundamental and applied aspects of physics in low-dimensional systems, including semiconductor heterostructures, mesoscopic systems, quantum wells and superlattices, two-dimensional electron systems, and quantum wires and dots. In 2004 a new era in material science was opened: the era of graphene or, more generally, of two-dimensional materials.
