The Betancourt group develops functional, stimuli-responsive biomaterials at the nano-, micro- and macroscale to detect, diagnose, monitor and treat cancer and other diseases. Research includes polymeric nanoparticles for molecular imaging, drug delivery and light-triggered therapeutic strategies.
