The M.Sc. - Nanoscience by Research is a two year full-time degree program from Amity University
The programme at the Amity Institute of Nanotechnology comprises of conceptual knowledge of nanoscience and nanotechnology, including preparation of nanomaterials, their characterization and applications. Our eminent faculty takes care of teaching and training the students in the frontier areas of nanotechnology and they have drawn a noteworthy syllabus for the entire course.
This M.Sc. program will provide training in the field of Molecular Medicine. Molecular medicine is the study of molecular and cellular phenomena in biological systems that enhances our understanding of human diseases and facilitates discovery research in disease prevention, diagnosis and therapy. Molecular Medicine offers new scientific tools to address mechanistic aspects of different diseases, both in diagnostics and therapy.
This is a two year course in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology with an application focusing on energy science such as Photovoltaics, Batteries, Supercapacitors, Hydrogen Storage and Carbon Capture. There are basic foundation courses in Physics and materials, followed by subject core courses dealing with nanotechnology specialization such as design of nanosystems, nanomaterials and their processing, properties and characterization, applications of nanomaterials to energy, etc.
Keeping in view of the importance of Nanotechnology and the infrastructure available in Jamia, the Department of Physics started a two-year M. Tech Nanotechnology course in 2007 with an initial intake of 15 students, which has been enhanced to 20 students with effect from the academic year 2012-13.
The Centre for Nano Science and Technology (CNST) aims at initiating and pursuing research activities in areas related to nanotechnology and nanoscale phenomena, for various applications at Masters level and collaborative research with other universities, institutes and industries.
This 2-year course is offered by the University Centre of Instrumentation and Microelectronics (UCIM).
The school offers B.Sc.-M.Sc. Nanoscience and Nanotechnology (5 years integrated) courses.
The university offers a 2-year and a 5-year program.
The program imparts several courses in Material Science, Thermodynamics, Mathematical physics, Quantum Physics, Nanochemistry initially. Later on, it provides the basic aspects of Instrumentation techniques and the advanced courses such as Thin Film Technology and Nanophotonics. At the end of programe, the students are expected to do a well-qualified project. This program is intended to enable the students' interests and provide the basic research activities for deeper insights in both theoretical and experimental aspects.
University of Mumbai announces the introduction of M. Phil. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology to thosestudents who desire experimental skills and experience. This course will provide hands on experience in all aspects of nano fabrication and characterization tools with a newly designed class 100 to 10,000 clean room facility.
Ten Semester (Five year) Integrated Dual degree Master of Technology course in the four streams of Converging Technologies. The Master's programme will have two years of common curriculum in all fields of basic science, and engineering. The third year course involves training in all streams of converging technologies. The last two years of education will be fully customizable in specialized domains in the streams of converging technologies.
Objective of the degree is to create a strong research focus, with high achieving students, working in state-of-the-art research laboratories equipped with world class fabrication and characterisation resources.
