OECD nanotechnology awareness-raising workshop for developing and transition countries |
| (Nanowerk News) OECD and UNITAR will hold Awareness-Raising Workshops for Developing and Transition Countries on Nanotechnology and Manufactured Nanomaterials. |
| These workshops will be held under the auspices of the Inter-Organization Programme For The Sound Management of Chemicals (IOMC) following their request for action regarding nanotechnologies and nanomaterials. |
| These workshops will inform on potential applications and risks from nanotechnologies and manufactured nanomaterials and look for opportunities for awareness raising activities to be undertaken in those countries. |
| The workshops will be held in conjunction with the Strategic Approach to International Chemicals Management (SAICM) during the UN regional meetings during 2009-2010. |
