(Nanowerk News) European Schoolnet is launching a new call for teachers across Europe, to participate in the project NANOCHANNELS which just started in January 2011 and is funded under the 7th Framework Programme from Directorate-General Research.

NANOCHANNELS will encompass a programme of communication, dialogue, and engagement in issues of nanotechnology (NT) aimed at European citizens. Regarding the young public, a series of school-based debates will be organized in the second semester of the 2011-2012 school year.

Are you a secondary school Science teacher of 14-18 year-old students who is interested in organizing such kind of debate in your school? Then please fill in the application form (pdf) before Monday 7 March 2011. You will be contacted before the end of March 2011 to be informed about the results of the selection procedure.
