Nanotechnology Research – Laboratories

The Engineer Research ad Development Center (ERDC) nanomaterials research cluster includes an interdisciplinary team of experts in the fields of materiel science, geology, soil science, toxicology, and computational chemistry. The team has four major research programs addressing questions regarding the source, analysis, fate and transport, and toxicology of engineered nanomaterials.

The US Food and Drug Administration regulates a wide range of products, including foods, cosmetics, drugs, devices, and veterinary products, some of which may utilize nanotechnology or contain nanomaterials.

Strategic Research Areas are: To achieve dramatic, innovative enhancements in the properties and performance of structures, materials, and devices that have controllable features on the nanometer scale.
