FlexTech Alliance announces dates for 2012 Flexible Electronics and Displays Conference
(Nanowerk News) The FlexTech Alliance, focused on developing the electronic display and the flexible, printed electronics industry supply chains, today announced its 11th annual Flexible Electronics and Displays Conference and Exhibition will take place February 6-9, 2012 in Phoenix, Ariz. Flex 2012 will emphasize product demonstrators and integrators - providing opportunities to meet suppliers, leading-edge developers, system integrators, partners and customers. The 3-day, multi-track technical conference consists of more than 100 in-depth presentations plus exhibitions, a short course series, poster sessions, a welcome reception and the annual FLEXI Awards Dinner.
The Flexible Electronics and Displays Conference and Exhibition attracts attendees from more than 10 countries and 200 companies, universities, R&D labs, and government agencies representing the many different segments of the flexible electronics and displays value and supply chains. Attendees span the roles of research, marketing, product development, manufacturing, senior business development, and executive functions.
"The Flexible Electronics and Displays Conference has for several years been a leading forum covering the Displays, Lighting, Renewable Energy and Sensor application spaces," said Keith Rollins, Chief Innovation Officer, DuPont Teijin Films. "Participants benefit from exposure to world-leading experts addressing technology development and "lab to fab" commercialization."
"The Flexible Electronics and Displays Conference is a great way to learn about the latest developments in the industry," said Dr. Michael McCreary, Deputy Chief Technology Officer, E Ink. "I have attended the conference for 10 years and have found the technical content and networking opportunities to be invaluable".
The 2012 Call for Papers is now open. In addition to product demos, priority will be given to original research and new toolset, process and materials introductions.
The deadline for submission is August 19, 2011.
