Adept MobileRobotics, iRobot, QinetiQ and VGo Communications are among the companies scheduled to demonstrate robots at Tuesday’s event, which will feature courses that test the strength, durability, design and functionality of robots.
UMass hopes the center will fuel robotics research and development across the region by providing access to state-of-the-art testing equipment.
At Tuesday’s opening, the Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council will announce the results of its new report measuring the state of the industry in Massachusetts, including growth in sales, venture funding and employment.
