Science and Technology of Advanced Materials provides an international forum for refereed original contributions and reviews covering all aspects of materials science, including theoretical analysis, synthesis and processing, phase and structure analyses, characterization, properties, engineering and applications. "Silver nanoparticles" is a collection of seventeen chapters written by experts in their respective fields. This journal covers fundamental and applied research in the field of soft nanoscience, which includes polymers and colloids. This will necessarily address nanostructured polymers (e.g. block copolymers), nanocomposites, physical gels, microemulsions, surface/interface modification, new processes (e.g. electrospinning/spraying), confinement effects, the organic/biological interface, and responsive/functional polymers. Results may be experimental, theoretical or simulation in nature.

This journal is devoted to the rapid dissemination of original research papers of relevance to inorganic and metal-organic chemists and nano-scientists engaged in synthesis and characterization of Inorganic, Main Group, Metal-Organic and Nano-Particulate Constructs.
