Conference announcement: Nanotechnology in foods - opportunities and challenges
(Nanowerk News) 'Nanoscience in Foods: Opportunities and Challenges' is an exciting new conference designed to help keep you up-to-date with the latest advances in the application of micro- and nanotechnology in food and drink applications.
The event will cover a range of topics including applications in food processing, food safety implications, consumer attitudes and perceptions of nanotechnology in foods, as well as a global regulatory review.
Chaired by: Professor Clive Roberts, Director of the Nottingham Nanotechnology and Nanoscience Centre, The University of Nottingham.
Keynote speakers include: Professor George John, The City College of the City University of New York; Dr Mark Auty, National Food Imaging Centre, Teagasc; Dr Henelyta S Ribeiro, Unilever Research Centre; Professor Ian Bruce, University of Kent; Professor Vasco Teixeira, University of Minho; Dr Qasim Chaudhry, The Food and Environment Research Agency; Dr Arnout Fischer; Wageningen University; and Dr Keith Robson, NanoKTN.
