Dutch Health Council publishes draft on proposed nanoparticle exposure registry
(Nanowerk News) The Health Council of the Netherlands has published a draft report (pdf) in which a committee of the council advices on the implementation of an exposure registry and a system of health monitoring when working with engineered nanoparticles.
The President of the Health Council would like to give you the opportunity to comment on the draft. The draft is presented to experts of employer's organizations and trade unions. Also other interested parties or persons may comment. Comments may be sent – preferably by email – before August 10, 2012 to: Ms. dr. J.M. Rijnkels, The Health Council of The Netherlands, Committee Working with nanomaterials, PO Box 16052, 2500 BB, The Hague, The Netherlands.
The comments will be taken into account in deciding on the final version of the document. The final document will be presented to the State Secretary of Social Affairs and Employment. All comments received and the response of the Committee will be publicly available (www.gezondheidsraad.nl) from the moment of presentation of the final report.
