Conference on ethical issues in biomedical engineering

(Nanowerk News) More than a hundred bioengineers, research scientists, physicians, lawyers, ethicists, philosophers, and students will convene in Brooklyn, New York for the Fourth International Conference on Ethical Issues in Biomedical Engineering on April 20-22, 2007.
One of the six sessions will deal with the ethics of nanobiotechnology.
Participants will discusses the ethics of such issues as the medical use of nanotechnology, stem cell research, and clinical trials, and neuroethics. Co-sponsored by SUNY Downstate Medical Center and Polytechnic University, the conference will take place at Polytechnic University, Metro Tech Center, Brooklyn, New York.
