Cambridge CNT Society announces 2009 Carbon Nanoscience Symposium

(Nanowerk News) Organized by the Cambridge CNT Society, the 2009 forum on November 13, 2009 in Cambridge, UK, will provide a platform for reviewing and discussing novel developments in the field of carbon nanostructures and related materials as well as their applications.
Subjects included are:
  • Nanotube synthesis and purification, large-scale production, quality-control
  • Graphene and nanoribbons synthesis
  • Mechanical properties, composite and hybrid materials
  • Electronic and optical properties
  • Functionalisation and modification, tailoring of properties
  • Devices for electronic, photonic, energy, and sensor applications
  • Biomedical impact and applications
  • Theory and modelling
